When you use Areye, we collect information you provide directly — such as your name, phone number, email address, and payment details — as well as information generated through your use of the platform, including trip history, location data during active trips, and device information.
We use your information to provide, maintain, and improve the Areye platform; to connect riders with drivers; to process payments; to send service notifications; and to comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Areye collects precise location data from your device when you use the app to book rides or deliveries. Location data is shared with your assigned driver during an active trip. You can disable location access in your device settings, but this will prevent core app functionality from working.
We share your information with drivers to complete your bookings, with payment processors to handle transactions, and with service providers who help us operate the platform. All third parties are bound by confidentiality agreements and may not use your data for their own purposes.
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is completely secure, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your Areye account.
